Who Are These People?

The following people were remembered to be cousins to the family somehow, or we have pictures of them but don't know who they are.

1. Bertha, Greatgrandma, Grandpa, Bertha's brother

   Back of photo says: (above line and) Grandpa's parents and cousins

   Might be: Leibel and Nettie Mularzewicz in the center, who are the cousins?

2. The Long Lost Halpert Cousins in Israel

   I suspect that Arnold/Itzhak is Benjamin's son, but all I have is these photos. I don't have any other names and don't know how to find these people.

   Benjamin Halpert and his wife: her name is unknown, Benjamin in Henry Halpert's brother

   Arnold and Ester Halpert, 1948: photo signed on back in English

   Itzhak and Ester Halpert and family, 1952: back written in Yiddish, looks like Benjamin's wife on the right

   Back says This is my son Benjamin, 1948: same handwriting, style of date as above two

3. Leon and Pearl Mednikow

   Remembered relationship: Called "Uncle Leon and Aunt Pearl"

   Last lived in: New Jersey

   Possible relation: Unknown, thru Feldstein or Bochkiss family

   Info has been included in the database.

4. Mr. and Mrs. M. Kurlander

   Last known location: Miami Beach, Florida

   Relation: Miller's mother's maiden name was Kurlander, so somewhere over there

5. Sylvia and Ludwig Schwartzman (siblings)

   Might be: Their mother may be the sister of Esther and Malka Bochkiss

   Info has been included in the database.

6. Basya, Anushka, and Isya Greenfield

Known location: Lived in Brighton Beach in the 1930s

7. Celia and Yan Kaminsky, and son Julian (or Lucian?)

   Last known location: New Jersey

   Other data: Julian was possibly a Captain in the Navy

8. Frank, Alice, and Edith

   Back of photo says: "son Frank daughter-in-law Alice, Edith my grandchild"

   Different writing: "Mom's Cousin? from New York"

   Possible relation: Shleper family, "Mom" was probably Bertha Halpert (nee Shleper)

9. Irving Stein

   Possible relation: Halpert or Shleper family, was in possession of Cecil Halpert

10. Julius, Wife, and sister Roy

    Back of photo says: "??? Abram, from nephew, Julius"

    Different writing: "My Wife, me, and sister Roy who died"

    Might be: Abram Shleper/Smith, his wife, sister Rose Wolfe
